CBT helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. When unhelpful patterns keep you stuck, we work together to notice them and create new, healthier ways of thinking and responding. This approach is practical and skills-based, giving you tools you can use in everyday life to reduce stress, shift perspective, and feel more empowered.
-
ACT is about creating space for your feelings while also moving toward what matters most to you. Instead of fighting your thoughts or emotions, we’ll focus on building resilience and self-acceptance by blending mindfulness, values exploration, and action planning towards creating a more meaningful life.
-
Our bodies often hold on to stress and trauma in ways the mind alone can’t resolve. Somatic Experiencing is a gentle, body-based approach that works with the nervous system to support healing. Instead of focusing only on thoughts or memories, SE explores how trauma shows up in the body through patterns like fight, flight, or freeze. By gently working with these patterns, SE helps release tension, restore balance, and bring a sense of safety back to the nervous system. Through guided awareness of your body’s signals, you can build resilience, feel more grounded, and reconnect with your inner strength.
-
SFT centers on your strengths and the future you want to create. Rather than staying stuck in the problem, we’ll highlight what’s already working and build practical steps toward your goals.
-
Self-compassion is the practice of treating yourself with the same kindness you would offer a loved one. Learning this skill can quiet the inner critic, bring healing to painful emotions, and help you feel more at peace with who you are.

Yes, I am in-network with Aetna and United Healthcare, and I also accept Loveland Foundation vouchers. For all other insurance plans, I can provide a superbill to help you request possible reimbursement for out-of-network services. I encourage you to check with your insurance provider directly to inquire about your benefits for outpatient behavioral health services.

If you choose not to use insurance, my private pay rates are $165 for an initial intake session and $145 for ongoing sessions.

All sessions are held virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant version of Zoom. You’ll receive email and/or text reminders 48 hours and 24 hours before your appointment, each with the Zoom link to join our session.
Virtual sessions make it easy to attend therapy from the comfort of your home, or another private, quiet space that feels right for you.
-
Most sessions are 50-55 minutes, which gives us ample time to focus on your goals while keeping the experience manageable and sustainable.
-
Many clients begin with weekly or bi weekly sessions to build momentum and rapport and get comfortable with being in the therapy space. Over time, you may transition to less frequent sessions, such as monthly, as your needs and goals evolve. We will decide together what schedule feels most supportive for you.
-
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals. Some people find short-term support is enough for a specific challenge, while others benefit from ongoing therapy over months or even years to support deeper growth and transformation.
-
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to make positive changes, therapy can be a powerful tool. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can explore what support might look like for you and see if we’re a good fit .
-
You usually don’t have to prepare anything in advance; simply come with an open mind and curiosity about yourself. Some clients find it helpful to jot down emotions, insights, challenges, or patterns they’d like to discuss, but it’s completely optional.
-
Homework is always optional. At times, I may suggest activities between sessions to help you practice new skills, reflect on insights, or continue progress toward your goals in daily life. This can look like journaling, reading, having a meaningful conversation or practicing a skill such as mindfulness or noticing your self-talk.
While therapy can be most impactful when you carry the work into your everyday life, homework is not a requirement. We will work together to find what feels realistic and supportive for you.
-
Progress can look like increased self-awareness, healthier coping skills, improved relationships, or feeling more equipped to handle stress. Keep in mind that progress and healing isn’t always linear–sometimes things feel harder before they improve, and not every session feels equally productive. Over time, you should notice a sense of growth and movement toward your goals.

I understand that life happens. I simply ask for at least 24 hours’ advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule to avoid a late cancellation fee. If you’re running behind, I offer a 15 minute grace period; after that, the session is considered a late cancellation/no show. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are billed at the full session rate.
